Overland Kailash Mansarovar Yatra 2027

Welcome to Kathmandu, the gateway to your sacred Kailash Mansarovar pilgrimage. Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will greet you and escort you to your hotel. Relax, freshen up, and prepare for the spiritual journey ahead.

Begin the day with visits to Kathmandu's most revered spiritual landmarks, including the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, Jal Narayan (Sleeping Vishnu), and the magnificent Boudhanath Stupa. In the evening, attend a detailed yatra briefing and document check.

Drive through picturesque hills, charming villages, and scenic river valleys towards Syabrubesi, the last major town before the Nepal-Tibet border.

Cross the Rasuwagadhi border and complete Nepal and Tibet immigration formalities before entering Kyirong, your first destination in Tibet.

Spend the day resting and allowing your body to adjust to the higher altitude. You may explore the local market or prepare for the upcoming high-altitude journey.

Travel across the spectacular Tibetan Plateau while enjoying breathtaking mountain scenery and crossing the mighty Brahmaputra River.

One of the most awaited days of the pilgrimage. Arrive at the sacred Lake Mansarovar, perform the lake parikrama by vehicle, and witness your first divine darshan of Mount Kailash.

Begin the morning with holy rituals at Lake Mansarovar before driving to Darchen, the base camp for the Kailash Parikrama.

Start the sacred Kailash Parikrama from Yamdwar and trek to Dirapuk while enjoying magnificent views of the North Face of Mount Kailash.

The most challenging and spiritually rewarding day of the yatra. Cross the sacred Dolma-La Pass, visit Gauri Kund, and continue towards Zuthulphuk.

Complete the final stretch of the Parikrama before rejoining your vehicle and driving back to Saga/Dongba.

Retrace your route through the stunning Tibetan landscapes and return to Kyirong for the night.

After completing border formalities, drive back to Kathmandu. Celebrate the successful completion of your sacred pilgrimage with a farewell dinner.

After breakfast, enjoy some free time for shopping or relaxation before your airport transfer for your onward journey with unforgettable memories of Kailash Mansarovar.
