1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking any tour with Himalayan Yatra Pvt. Ltd., you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you (the traveler) and Himalayan Yatra (the operator). Please read them carefully before making any booking.
2. Booking & Payment
A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the advance payment (minimum 30% of total cost) and a written confirmation from our team. The balance amount must be paid at least 15 days before the departure date. For bookings made within 15 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
- Payments can be made via bank transfer, UPI, credit/debit card, or approved digital wallets.
- All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to change without prior notice until booking is confirmed.
- GST and applicable taxes are included in the quoted price unless stated otherwise.
3. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be communicated in writing via email to [email protected]. Cancellation charges apply as follows:
- 30+ days before departure: Full refund minus ₹1,000 processing fee
- 15-29 days: 25% of total cost
- 7-14 days: 50% of total cost
- Less than 7 days: No refund
Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.
4. Limitation of Liability
Himalayan Yatra acts as an intermediary between travelers and service providers (hotels, transport, guides). While we exercise due diligence in selecting partners, we are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or irregularity arising from the services of third-party providers.
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance before your trip.
5. Travel Documents & Permits
Travelers are responsible for carrying valid photo ID (Passport/Voter ID). Inner Line Permits for restricted areas in Sikkim will be arranged by us, but travelers must provide necessary documents (passport-size photos, ID copies) at least 7 days before departure.
6. Force Majeure
Himalayan Yatra shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing obligations due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, landslides, strikes, government actions, or pandemics. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements or reschedule your trip.
7. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Siliguri, West Bengal, India.
